The Old Edo's summer event happens on the July of the 6th,7th and 8th every year at the Kishibojin temple in Iriya near Ueno.

120 shops of morning glory and 100 stalls line the street or the temple grounds. More than 120,000 pots of morning glory are sold during the period.

Better to come in the morning rather than afternoon in order to get good ASAGAO,morning glory, which blooms in the morning.
There are some rare types of flowers, enjoyable to hunt out stralling around and to feel the atmosphere including watching the sellars in the traditional fahsion.

Lucky charms with a small imitation morning glory are available at the temple.
